Blok 8 is a real estate project of Het Oosten on IJburg, which is a newly built island in Amsterdam. The target group for these houses were middle-aged people who could afford a rather exclusive house in a nice natural environment. QuA was asked to develop a communication strategy, a visual language and communication carriers.
The central theme "My Island in the City" comes back in all the communication carriers. The nature and atmosphere on the island was a big inspiration. Horizontal lines, sand colours and a feeling of movement and freedom are clearly visible in each design. These were combined with a classic and exclusive touch, for istance by using the crest shape for the logo crest.
After finishing the communication strategy and visual language, QuA in the end developed a leaflet, a sales brochure, a 3D installation for an housing information centre and door panels for the actual houses. |
